Previously the residence of a nobleman and patron of the arts, the Hotel ca Vendramin di Santa Fosca is housed in a lavishly decorated, traditional canal-side building in the Santa Fosca district in Canareggio, one kilometre from the famous St. Mark's Square. The hotel's air- conditioned 11 guestrooms have classical-style decor and suites are individually decorated with original frescos, exposed beams parquet flooring and traditional Venetian terraces, soft-tone bedside lamps and chandeliers. Within 300 metres is the Palazzo Albrizzi and within 400 metres is the Jewish Ghetto. The Rialto Bridge is 600 metres from the hotel and the infamous St.Mark's Square is one kilometre from the hotel. Marco Polo Airport is 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the hotel.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
A regular waterboat service and water taxis run from the airport to Venice. There are scheduled bus services to Padua, Mestre and Venice. Venice-Mestre railway station is connected to the airport by a bus service that runs every 20 minutes. A typical taxi fare from the airport would cost approx. 80 EUR.
Driving directions from the airport: Head for the terminal at Piazzale Roma. From there, no cars can get any further and public transport is necessary to complete your journey.
