Occupying a Byzantine building in St Mark's Square, originally home to the rich Venetian Dandolo family, the Palazzo Selvadego has a history of dating back to the 17th century. A regular waterboat service and water taxis run from the airport to Venice. Alilaguna station is 50 meters from the hotel. A water taxi from the airport to the hotel takes around 30 minutes. The easiest way to get around Venice is on foot, by vaporetto (public transport), or water taxi.
