The Residenza Cannaregio was originally a 17th century monastery and has inherited a 'chiostro' structure with a typical internal court. In the early 19th century the building was a 'squero' where gondolas used to be built. The hotel is located in the picturesque Cannaregio area of Venice, near the Campo de Gheto Novo, the oldest Jewish settlement in Europe. Its 66 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated in a modern style; all have ceilings with exposed beams and include bathrobes, complimentary newspapers and toiletries, minibars, safes, Internet connections and satellite television.
In the Al Piron restaurant, an à la carte menu with Venetian and international dishes is available, which can be eaten on the romantic Venetian terrace.
